Just saw a packaging project I worked on many years ago, horribly executed. Weird what comes out of the woodwork. With @ryansummers and Chris Parks.

What I did on my winter vacation: collateral for upcoming Nick event at Grand Central!

Tear pad posters for the film festival are in, making an appearance at schools locally and nationally

My Fanboy & Chum Chum plush blanket arrived! And all I had to do was spend a few weeks designing the packaging pattern. Thanks to my friends at Nick for the opportunity to work on such fun projects.

Art+Soul of the Catskills Film Fest collateral. This weekend heralded the first-of-its-kind celebration of local (Catskills region) film makers. There may be other film fests in the area, but this one is dedicated to locals, and what a talented group of people! Anyway, I was fortunate enough to be asked to create some of the marketing collateral, including the poster, postcard, as well as web and video slides. Great event, can’t wait for next year! The following posts show a couple of promo videos to which I also contributed.

SUNY Oneonta graduate program sign. I don’t share much of my straightforward corporate work, but I’ve done a lot of projects with the grad department and they’re really great folks for whom to work. I’ve had the opportunity to do page banner, web, and print ads for them as well. For a graduate program the tuition seems reasonable and they turn out good students every semester. Check ‘em out.

Created a poster to promote the show Pennies, Band Aids & Safety Pins. It opened in July as part of the annual Treadwell Stagecoach Run Art Festival, and will have showings on the weekends through summer. There are several dressers set up in the space, and each drawer has a different theme. It’s an environmental exhibit where you are actually encouraged to rummage through other people’s drawers! Check it out if you are upstate.
